  1. Soak rice for few hours.
  2. Slice the onions and tomatoes.
  3. Chop the garlic.
  4. Cut chillies into juliennes.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Add in garlic and fry for a minute but it should not change the colour.
  7. Add in chicken,yoghurt,onion,tomatoes and all the spices.
  8. Bhoono it well.
  9. Cook covered till chicken is tender and moisture evaporates.
  10. Boil the rice.
  11. Spread half rice in the pan.
  12. Add in chicken masala.
  13. Cover with remaining rice.
  14. Add in mint,lemon,chillies and colour.
  15. Cook covered on dum for 15 minutes.
  16. Serve hot.
