  2. 1/2 Cup Boiled Beans
  3. 1/2 Cup Boiled Cauliflower
  4. 1/2 Cup Boiled Green peas
  5. 1/2 Cup Boiled Carrot
  6. 1/2 Cup Yoghurt
  7. 1 TBSP Ginger Garlic Paste
  8. 1 TSP Red chilli powder
  9. 1/4 TSP Turmeric powder
  10. to taste Salt
  11. 1/2 TSP Garam Masala
  12. 1/2 TSP Biryani Masala
  13. 2 Onions finely chopped
  14. 4 slited Green chillies
  15. (2) For Steamed Rice
  16. 2 Cups Basmati Rice (Soaked)
  17. 2 Bay leaves
  18. 2 Cloves
  19. 1 Star Anise
  20. as required Water
  21. (3) For Layering Biryani
  22. 1 TBSP Pure Ghee
  23. 2 Sliced Fried onion
  24. Leaves as required Fresh Mint
  25. Leaves as required Fresh Coriander

Instructions to make to make Biryani Cake

  1. (1). For Marination - In a bowl add all boiled veggies, add Red chilli powder, Turmeric Powder, Salt, Garam Masala, Biryani Masala, Ginger Garlic Paste & Yoghurt and mix well and keep aside for 1 hour.
  2. In a pan heat oil, add finely chopped onions and green chillies and sauté well. Add marinated veggies and cook for 5 -7 minutes on low flame.
  3. (2). For Steamed Rice - Soak the rice for 2 hours. Heat oil in a pan add Bay leaves, Cloves, Star Anise and sauté for a minute. Add rice and water and cook till half done on medium flame.
  4. Now strain the excess water and keep aside the rice.
  5. (3). For Layering Biryani - In a pan add 1 TBSP pure ghee, add layer of rice then veggies and repeat it twice. Lastly sprinkle fried onions, mint leaves and coriander leaves.
  6. Place a small steel bowl in centre of this biryani with a burnt coal and add 1 tsp pure ghee on this. Immediately cover it with lid to give it smoky flavour to biryani.
  7. Now seal the lid with cooking pot tightly with roti dough.
    Switch on the flame, put the cooking pot onto low flame.
    Dum the biryani for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  8. Serve hot dum biriyani with salad, papad and raita.
